First Lady PacknettA native of Kansas City, Missouri, Lady Bertha Packnett was to born to Elder John Gay and Mother Lola Dozier, and was raised be her stepfather, George Dozier. She has five siblings, Martha, Harry, Urail (deceased), Carl, and Christine. Being musically inclined since birth, her siblings steered her in the right direction with their soulful voices. She began studying music at the early age of eight, causing her to become and anointed songwriter, pianist, vocal trainer, singer, and actress. With her many God given gifts and talents Lady Packnett has been blessed to play for numerous churches. She started the Paseo Gospel Choir and has toured with many stage plays. She has been featured on many recordings and has traveled with several gospel groups and choirs. She has participated in several workshops as an instructor. Lady Packnett has also served as District Sunshine Band and Purity Leader in the Progressive District. She has been married to Supt. Thuston Packnett, Sr. for over 30 years. She has three beautiful children, Dana , Eld. Thuston II (wife LaKietha), and Jonnet, and Eight grandchildren, Zania, Trinity, Melody, Jeremiah,Mckenzie, Kareem, Gregory, and Zemorea, whom she loves dearly. Following in her footsteps, her children have become musicians, singers, and dancers. Dana is a gifted singer, who has also recorded with various groups as a featured artist, and ministers with the Redemption Praise Dancers with her sister Jonnet which is also serving over hospitality and a member of the national praise dance team of the Church Of God In Christ. Eld. Thuston II is a gifted musician and serves as the Youth Pastor and Minister of Music at Redemption. Having been a member of Greater Holy Temple, Lady Packnett was blessed to serve as a Youth Leader. In addition to being the First Lady of Redemption, she also serves as Praise and Worship Leader and director of B.W.A.P. (Bought With A Price) Praise Dancers. Lady Packnett loves to help with her God given talents but recognizes that God will get the glory out of what He gives her. She still continues to pursue God's will and thanks Him for helping her to live a SAVED LIFE.
